Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a Latino male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the infant boy as Eziquel Sanchez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Asphyxia

Cause of Death B: History of Wedged Between Adult Bed and Toddler Bed

RIP EZIQUEL SANCHEZ (February 20, 2023 – August 12, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 5:22 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 22.

The child was about 5 months and three weeks old.
