(L.A.) Eugene Leetch, 60, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 60-year-old Native American male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Eugene Leetch.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Multiple Drug Toxicity

RIP EUGENE PEARL LEETCH (March 27, 1965 – August 6, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 3, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, polydrug overdose.

The decedent’s body was cremated.
