Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Ester Frias.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Influenza Infection

Other Significant Condition: History of Myeloblastic Leukemia

RIP ESTER FRIAS (May 21, 1982 – January 7, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 10:30 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on March 12.
