(L.A.) Ernesto Jimenez, 61, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 61-year-old Asian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Ernesto Jimenez.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP ERNESTO JIMENEZ (October 23, 1962 – July 30, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 6:11 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 10, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances. This was either a heart attack (myocardial infarction) or cardiac arrest.

The decedent may have been of Filipino descent.
