RIP ERNA DAVTYAN (July 23, 1981 – March 31, 2024)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 12:17 p.m.
The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on July 16, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
Methorphan, particularly dextromethorphan (DXM), has been linked to suicide attempts and psychotic episodes.
DXM is a cough suppressant. Taking to much of it leads to dangerous side effects like confusion, agitation, paranoia, nausea, vomiting, and respiratory depression (slowed breathing).
Quetiapine is an antipsychotic medication used to treat various mental health conditions. Like other antipsychotic medications, quetiapine carries a black-box warning regarding an increased risk of suicidal thoughts and behaviors.
