(L.A.) Erik Tapia Brito, 21, Died on a Bench

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 21-year-old Hispanic male that occurred on a bus bench or public bench.

The coroner’s office has identified the young man as Erik Tapia Brito.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine and Ethanol

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 11:05 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 4, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
