(L.A.) Equasia Vaughn, 32, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 32-year-old Black female that occurred at her a residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Equasia Vaughn.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine and Cocaine

RIP EQUASIA TRUEMPRESS VAUGHN (September 1, 1992 – July 16, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

The decedent had been a missing person. She was last seen leaving her home on June 25.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 4, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
