(L.A.) Eddie Grismore, 32, Died in a Vehicle

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 32-year-old Black male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Eddie Grismore.

Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Page.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 5:39 p.m.

The decedent appears to have been the driver of a white sedan involved in a robbery in the West Adams neighborhood. A group had robbed a man who then tailed the suspects in his Mercedes-Benz SUV, which he then rammed into the sedan, causing the car to lose control and smash into a light pole at the corner of Adams Boulevard and West View Street. The driver died in the collision.
