Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 25-year-old Black female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the young woman as Dymon Atkinson.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Lupus

Other Significant Condition: Coronavirus HKU1 and Rhinovirus/Enterovirus Infection

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 6:02 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on August 30.
