The coroner’s office identified the man as Donald Hinton of Lancaster.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 8:59 a.m.

The decedent was at Palmdale Regional Medical Center.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
