Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old Black female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Diane Fields.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: History of Hypertension, Emphysema, Asthma, Chronic Tobacco Use and Upper Gastrointestinal Hemorrhage

RIP DIANE FIELDS (December 12, 1966 – November 23, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 1:40 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling in August the following year.
