(L.A.) Diana Chavez, 58, Died From Meth Use

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 58-year-old Hispanic female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Diana Chavez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic and Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Effects of Methamphetamine, Morbid Obesity

RIP DIANA CHAVEZ (April 18, 1966 – June 29, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 6:56 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early September, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
