Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old male of Asian ethnicity that occurred at a residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Denny Eng.
Manner and cause of death have yet to be formally disclosed by the medical examiner; the information will be added to this page when it becomes available.

Because of the late date of entry into the MEC’s database, we surmise the death may have been overnight, sometime between the evening of January 16 and the morning of January 17. We may update these details when the medical examiner / coroner investigator issues their report.
According to the decedent’s Linkedin page, he had been working remotely for Meta (Facebook) as a product designer since August 2022.
He had studied graphic design at California State University-Long Beach.
