(L.A.) Deborah Hornblower, 62, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Deborah Hornblower.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine Intoxication

Other Significant Conditions: Chronic Kidney Disease; Hypertension

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 10:33 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 19, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
