Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 61-year-old Hispanic male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as David Chavez.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Chronic Ethanol Use

Other Significant Condition: Hypertension and Diabetes Mellitus

RIP DAVID CHAVEZ (November 1, 1961 – June 25, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 3:45 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 29.
