Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Daviance Johnson.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Acute Cardiac Dysfunction

Cause of Death B: Unspecified Supraventricular Arrythmia

Other Significant Condition: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

RIP DAVIANCE JOHNSON (June 18, 1978 – August 23, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 8:19 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in November, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
