(L.A.) Darryl Robinson, 63, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 63-year-old Black male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Darryl Robinson.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Fentanyl and Cocaine

Other Significant Condition: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP DARRYL ROBINSON (August 21, 1961 – September 22, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 8:18 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-December, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
