Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 52-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Darrell McConico.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP DARRELL LEE MCCONICO (May 27, 1972 – September 2, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 4:47 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 29, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.

This was either a heart attack (myocardial infarction) or cardiac arrest.
