Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old Black male that occurred in an alley.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Darius Harris.

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Effects

RIP DARIUS HARRIS (December 22, 1986 – September 22, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 3:11 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 1, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the meth. This was an accidental drug overdose.
