(L.A.) Daniel Smith, 24, Died in an Alley

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 24-year-old Caucasian male that occurred in an alley.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Daniel Smith.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Alprazolam

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 2:20 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 2, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive from the lab.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Daniel Smith” in public records.
