(L.A.) Daniel Escobedo, 43, Died in Transitional Living

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Latino male that occurred at a transitional-living facility.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Daniel Escobedo.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP DANIEL ESCOBEDO (October 27, 1981 – December 28, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 10:23 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-March, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
