Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 55-year-old Latin American male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Daniel Acosta.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Inhalation of Products of Combustion

RIP DANIEL ACOSTA (October 6, 1966 – October 20, 2021)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 10:45 p.m.

The fire was in the morning of October 15. He survived a few days at the hospital before succumbing.
