(L.A.) Dana Carpenter, 54, Died on a Hillside

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 54-year-old Black female that occurred on a hillside.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Dana Carpenter.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP DANA CARPENTER (March 17, 1969 – June 11, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 6:45 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 30, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs. This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
