(L.A.) Craig Caouette, 61, Died From Meth

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 61-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Craig Caouette.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Condition: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP CRAIG CAOUETTE (October 31, 1962 – August 19, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 8:30 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 10, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
