Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Christopher Nelson.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Sequelae of Acute and Chronic Alcohol Use
Other Significant Condition: Chronic Tobacco Use

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 12:09 p.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on March 20.
This appears to be a case of alcohol poisoning. The decedent was a habitual drunk who happened to drink way too much in one go in the 24 hours before he died.
Alcohol deaths can be classified as accidents under the assumption that the sots didn’t intend to kill themselves.
