(L.A.) Christine Aca-ac, 25, Died From Gunshots

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 25-year-old female that occurred at her residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the young woman as Christine Asa-Ca [sic] and listed her race/ethnicity as Native Hawaiian/Other Pacific Islander [sic].
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 2:07 a.m.
The decedent’s surname appears to be a somewhat obscure Filipino name. As usual, government workers could not be bothered to get basic facts right.
Edwin Fernando Garcia was her fiance. They were both shot to death, with each suffering multiple gunshot wounds.
Janvi Maquindang, younger brother of Christine, was killed with one gunshot to the head. His boyfriend Matthew Montebello was also killed with one gunshot to the head.

LASD said three people were shot dead at around 1:30 a.m. at a home in the 44500 block of North Tabler Avenue in Lancaster. After the shooting, the home was torched by an arsonist, presumed to be the same murderer responsible for the killings.
Firefighters dispatched to the one-story house at 1:43 a.m. had the fire out by 2:20 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Late Sunday night, a fourth person connected to the incident was taken off life support at the hospital after waiting for his organs to be assigned to donation. He has been identified as Matthew Montebello, the boyfriend of Janvi Maquindang.
UPDATE: On Thursday, police arrested Miguel Diego Sandoval, 19, on four counts of murder.
At least three pet dogs were also shot dead during the massacre.
