(L.A.) Edwin Fernando Garcia, 24, Died From Gunshots

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 24-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Edwin Garcia.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

LASD said three people were shot dead at around 1:30 a.m. at a home in the 44500 block of North Tabler Avenue in Lancaster. After the shooting, the home was torched by an arsonist, presumed to be the murderer responsible for the kilings.

Firefighters dispatched to the one-story house at 1:43 a.m. had the fire out by 2:20 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Late Sunday night, a fourth person connected to the incident died at the hospital.

The decedent Edwin Garcia was the fiance of Christine Aca-ac, who was shot to death along with her brother Janvi Maquindang and his boyfriend Matthew Montebello.

UPDATE: On Thursday, police arrested Miguel Sandoval, 19, on four counts of murder. His bail has been set at 8 million dollars.
