Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 24-year-old male of Latin American ethnicity that occurred at a roadside.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Christian Pena.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound Of Leg

RIP CHRISTIAN PENA (October 20, 1998 – February 13, 2023)

It’s possible the decedent’s surname is actually Peña, with an ñ instead of a plain n.

The decedent was found naked and dead in Azusa in the 2000 block of San Gabriel Canyon Road at about 6:30 a.m. Monday. He was face down in the dirt, and is presumed to have had his body dumped there after being killed elsewhere.
