(L.A.) Christian Cerda, 26, Died from a Gunshot

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 26-year-old “Black” male that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Christian Cerda.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Chest

RIP CHRISTIAN W. CERDA (July 2, 1996 – December 10, 2022)

The decedent was found shot dead Saturday in Huntington Park.

The shooting occurred about 3:50 a.m. Saturday in the 6300 block of Seville Avenue, where he was formally pronounced dead at 3:57 a.m..

Huntington Park police officers dispatched to the location found Cerda in the street suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. He had been involved a fight with another man prior to the shooting.
