(L.A.) Chillietoe Simon, 16, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 16-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital for women and children.

The coroner’s office has identified the teenager as Chillietoe Simon.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Sequelae of Hypoxic Encephalopathy

Cause of Death B: Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP CHILLIETOE SIMON (August 8, 2007 – November 5, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 3:07 a.m.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
