(L.A.) Kalie Rushton, 37, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 37-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Kalie Rushton.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Complication of Combined Effects of Amphetamine, Cocaine, and Fentanyl

RIP KALIE RUSHTON (August 21, 1986 – November 6, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 4:48 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 30 the following year, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
