(L.A.) Cherice Thomas, 35, Died at a Private Pool

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old Black female that occurred at a private pool.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Cherice Thomas.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Drowning

Cause of Death B: Effects of Phencyclidine

RIP CHERICE THOMAS (November 30, 1988 – July 22, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 2:59 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on October 5, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.
