(L.A.) Charlotte Edwards, 53, Died in a Tent

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 53-year-old Black female that occurred in a tent.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Charlotte Edwards.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Cocaine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 5, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
