Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 61-year-old Black male that occurred at a place of business.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Charles Anako.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic and Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Chronic Kidney Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 1:08 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on August 11, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
