Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 50-year-old “Caucasian” male that occurred at his apartment home.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as WeHo resident Charaf Benkhadda.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death A: Asphyxia

Cause of Death B: Hanging

RIP CHARAF BENKHADDA (January 1, 1972 – July 6, 2022)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 1:18 p.m.

The decedent appears to have been of Moroccan descent.
