Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Carmalita Wilson.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Ligature Hanging

RIP CARMALITA WILSON (February 5, 1990 – August 16, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

The government investigator indeed spelled the decedent’s forename as Carmalita and not Carmelita.
