The coroner’s office has identified the man as Carlos Ortiz Reyes.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP CARLOS ORTIZ REYES (November 27, 1957 – March 31, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 8:13 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on April 23. This was either a heart attack (myocardial infarction) or cardiac arrest.
