(L.A.) Carl John Pelena, 47, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 47-year-oldmale that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Carl John Pelena and listed his race/ethnicity as White/Caucasian [sic].

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic Heart Disease

RIP CARL JOHN PELENA (November 27, 1975 – August 11, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 8:22 a.m.

We do not know if the decedent was injected with synthetic mRNA.

According to the GoFundMe, “John suffered a head injury back in 2019, leaving him bedridden with lower extremities and left-sided weakness. In 2021, he moved to California from Guam, seeking better healthcare and support. Despite his frustrations, John never complained, always saying he was doing okay. We did our best to keep him comfortable, but his limitations made it difficult to keep him going.”

The decedent’s body was not brought in to the Department of Medical Examiner, and so the manner and cause of death seem to have been determined by the hospital. The DME made this record public in late January 2024.
