(L.A.) Bryan Robles, 6, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 6-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office has identified the child as Bryan Robles.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Head

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 3:39 a.m.
The decedent was hit by a stray bullet in South Los Angeles on the 4th of July. It happened just before 9 p.m. outside the family’s home near E. 40th Place and Avalon Boulevard, an area that has some of the highest shooting rates compared to other parts in L.A.
The boy was standing outside watching fireworks from the yard when he was hit by the stray bullet on top of his head.
He held on at the hospital for about three weeks before passing.
