(L.A.) Brittany Burrell, 43, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Black female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Brittany Burrell.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 2:14 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-March, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

The government investigator had initially spelled the decedent’s forename as Britney.
