(L.A.) Brittany Anthony, 33, Died at the Sherman Oaks Fwy Interchange

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Black female that occurred on the transition from the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway to the Ventura (101) Freeway.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Brittany Anthony.

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday morning.

At 3:28 a.m., California Highway Patrol heard about a black SUV facing the wrong way in the #1 lane of northbound 405. The vehicle hit the center divider and ended up blocking the carpool (HOV) lane.
