(L.A.) Briana Gallegos, 17, Died on a Hillside

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 17-year-old Hispanic female that occurred on a hillside.
The coroner’s office has identified the teenager as Briana Gallegos.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Blunt Force Injuries of Head

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 2:28 p.m.
The bodies of the decedent and her friend Gabriela Calzada were found near a hiking trail at Ernest E. Debs Regional Park. They were fully clothed, showed no signs of being sexually assaulted.
Jose Antonio Echeverria, 18, and Dallas Stone Pineda, 17, have been charged with the two gang-motivated murders.
