(L.A.) Brent Summers, 68, Used Arsenic to Kill Himself

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 68-year-old White/Caucasian male.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Brent Summers.

Cause of Death: Effects of Arsenic

RIP BRENT SUMMERS (October 30, 1955 – March 8, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 1:38 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 26, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.

This appears to be the only time arsenic has been mentioned as a cause of death out of over 160,000 death records made public by the county’s medical examiner since 1999.
