Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 73-year-old Black female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Brenda Morris.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Cardiopulmonary Arrest

Cause of Death B: Hypertensive Heart Disease

RIP BRENDA MORRIS (July 19, 1950 – May 3, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 3:48 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on August 10.
