(L.A.) Ricardo Hernandez Sandoval, 55, Died at an Encampment

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 55-year-old Latino male that occurred at an encampment.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Ricardo Hernandez Sandoval.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Intoxication

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 11:44 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 13, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

The government investigator has initially given the decedent’s forename+surname as Ricardo Hernandez, later adding Sandoval to the surname field.
