RIP BRANDON SHUBUNKA (April 25, 1987 – December 7, 2022)

On September 9, 2022, Shubunka filed a contract lawsuit against Thrive Social Equity Manager VIII, LLC, a company notorious in the cannabis industry.

In two separate but similar lawsuits, Thomas Anderson and Brandon Shubunka claimed that representatives from Thrive Social Equity Manager contacted them promising to help them obtain “extraordinary wealth” in the state’s commercial cannabis industry. Ultimately, Thrive bilked them out of all promised payments and conned them into signing over a majority share of the newly started companies in direct violation of state business laws.
