Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 59-year-old Black male that occurred in a prison/correctional facility.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Bobby Williams.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Hypertensive Cardiomyopathy

Other Significant Conditions:; Medical History of Chronic Pain and Cancer, Not Otherwise Specified

RIP BOBBY WILLIAMS (December 5, 1964 – February 16, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 6:14 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 8.
