(L.A.) Blake Ackerman, 27, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 27-year-old White/Caucasian male.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Blake Ackerman.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday.
The decedent was aparrently struck by a vehicle while riding his bike in West Hollywood at around 9:47 p.m.
UPDATE: Douglas Morton Adams, a 73-year-old man, was arrested on July 15 for this hit-and-run.
LASD said a bicyclist was traveling westbound on Fountain Avenue when a white older-model BMW sedan, traveling in the same direction, crashed into the bike by Gardner Street.
The driver of the vehicle did not stop to render aid. Eventually, the injured cyclist was taken Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Daniel Paluch, another Jewish lawyer practicing in L.A., just died on July 8.
