Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 51-year-old Black male.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Autry Coleman Jr.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP AUTRY COLEMAN JR. (October 11, 1972 – September 7, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in late December, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
