Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Pacific Islander that occurred in Long Beach.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Ausage Sauta.

The decedent was described by Long Beach Police Department as “experiencing homelessness” though his residential address was listed by the medical examiner as 1552 Schrader Blvd. #104, Los Angeles, California 90028. That address belongs to Casa Verde Apartments, which is low-income Section 8 housing in the Hollywood area.
